报告题目: Intelligent Robotic Systems
报告摘要: Robotics is the science and technology of robots, their design, manufacture, and application. Robotics requires a working knowledge of electronics, mechanics. The control of a robot involves various aspects such as path planning, pattern recognition, obstacle avoidance, etc. Any task involves the motion of the robot. The study of motion can be divided into kinematics and dynamics. In each area mentioned above, researchers strive to develop new concepts and strategies, improve existing ones and improve the interaction between these areas. To do this, criteria for optimal performance and ways to optimize design, structure and control of robots must be developed and implemented.
This keynote presentation will cover: Intelligent robotic systems, scope of research works and idea for the future life as an engineering student. Prof. Jo will deliver the general scope of research works in Intelligent Robotics Era and taking into account on the campus life for a young student nowadays that he has been thinking about the life in the contemporary world.
报告人简介:
Prof. Jo, Kang-Hyun has been with University of Ulsan, Korea since 1998. He has been served as director of many societies such as ICROS(Institute of Control, Robotics and Systems, Korea), IEEE IES TC-HF(Human Factors Technical Committee) Chair. He is currently contributing himself as an (associate or guest) editor for a few renowned international journals, such as IJCAS(International Journal of Control, Automation and Systems), TCCI(Transactions on Computational Collective Intelligence), IEEE IES TII(Trans. on Industrial Informatics), etc.
Prof. Jo has been made a variety of contributions for managing and organizing conferences, workshops such as: ICIC(International Conference on Intelligent Computing), ICCAS(International Conference on Control, Automation and Systems), IEEE HSI(International Workshops on Human System Interactions). Until now, he had published more than hundred technical papers with peer reviews.
